Rules, controls and help for Air Hockey
Air Hockey gives you a focused activity to play in your browser. Score seven goals before the computer. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Use the example below to understand a decision.
Move your paddle against a computer opponent and score through the opposite goal.
Take a closer look while playing
Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Keep the objective visible.
What you need to achieve

Put the rules into context
An angled hit can bank off a side wall. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Verify the rule before continuing.
A common point of confusion
You cannot move into the computer’s half. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
