Find your footing in Pyramid Solitaire

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Pyramid Solitaire. Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Look at what changes after your first action. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Pyramid, stock and waste; one stock recycle. Free solo play, no wagering.

Practice with a purpose

After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Remove all 28 pyramid cards. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Follow these playing steps

  1. Only uncovered cards are selectable. Pairs total 13; a king removes alone.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Your inputs

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Use the control method described here for this activity. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

Work through an example

An exposed queen pairs with an ace; a jack pairs with a 2. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Notice the change in the playing area.

Pay attention to this rule

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
